The vaccine manufacturing site was founded in 1921 in Dessau-Tornau, Germany. From 1993, it is part of the KLOCKE group: IDT Biologika GmbH, today a leading contract manufacturer of viral vaccines, viral vectors for gene and immunotherapy, oncolytic viruses, protein-based vaccines and other biologics providing end-to-end services to pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
IDT Biologika has three sites:
- The headquarters in Dessau-Roßlau, Saxony-Anhalt (Germany)
- The Magdeburg site in Saxony-Anhalt (Germany)
- The Rockville site in Maryland (USA)
