Over the last two decades, KLOCKE Pharma-Service has become one of the leading pharmaceutical sachet filling service providers in Europe. With over 10 redundant vertical and horizontal lines, we can fill powders and granules for pharmaceutical use into sachets with ease.

Mixing & Granulation
Common machinery and equipment for the pharmaceutical manufacturer comprise granulators, sieves and mixers. At KLOCKE, we use these technologies:
Sieving / Grinding
Several Comill and Frewitt sieving machines with common screen sizes are available.
Container- / Free-fall mixers
Drum blenders (50-200 litres) and Container blenders (600-2300 litres) are used for free-fall mixing.
Compulsory mixers
Our Compulsory mixers include 60 litre, 600 litre and 1250 litre units from Diosna for batch sizes of 20 kg, 200 kg and 400 kg respectively.
Fluid bed dryers
Our fluid bed dryers allow drying and granulation with aqueous and solvent-based media. The systems exploit bottom-spray technology enabling both – single-pot granulation or in tandem with compulsory mixers. Batch sizes range from about 20 kg or 200 kg up to 400 kg.
Tableting
For the production of tablets and micro tablets, we take advantage of our modern, redundant rotary presses in the medium to high output range (= 50,000-250,000 tablets per hour). You do not need to invest in additional tools – our large set of tablet tooling in stock on site often allows customized productions. KLOCKE tablet presses are equipped with exchangeable turrets and are compatible with B or D tooling types under EU regulations.
Production lines for 2- and 3-layer tablets are available.
If granulation processes are necessary ahead: Extensive mixing and granulation capacities at KLOCKE Pharma-Service allow timely processing of your granules into tablets.
Sugar- & Film-coating
Sugar-coating
At KLOCKE traditional sugar-coating deploying state-of-the-art coating technology is carried out by our experienced chief coating experts.
Film-coating
For film-coating, we are equipped with modern drum coaters for batch sizes up to 500kg. These systems also allow sugar-coating. A scale-down unit is available for small batch sizes. KLOCKE provides aqueous and solvent-based coatings. Coatings hide the unpleasant taste of tablets, facilitate swallowing and protect your active ingredient. We also offer enteric coating which prevents gastric acids in the stomach from dissolving or degrading your drug and allows the active substance to be released in the intestines.
Capsule filling
KLOCKE Pharma-Service disposes state-of-the-art equipment, allowing dosage of powders and pellets into capsules. We provide a wide range of solutions for various capsule sizes.
KLOCKE is at the forefront of capsule technology and innovation – our capsules pass deduster units and metal detectors before their obligatory 100 % weight check.
